Welcome to Nourish

This is a space where I share simple recipes inspired by my Hungarian roots, but also something more than that. A slower, more balanced way of looking at food, and at life. I’ve also been influenced by other cultures along the way, especially through living with my Filipino husband, where food is very much about connection and sharing.

I don't believe that health comes from strict diets or counting calories all the time. For me, health is about balance. It's about how we live, how we move, and how we connect with others.

I grew up seeing a different way of living. Elderly people in villages, looking after their homes, cooking every day, moving naturally, spending time with neighbours, sharing food and stories. They were not following diets. They were living. And they lived long, peaceful, and often very happy lives. Not because everything was perfect, but because their life had rhythm, connection, and simplicity.

At the same time, my own experience with food has not always been balanced. I've known what it feels like to have very little, and also what it feels like to have more than enough. I've experienced gaining weight, losing weight, and trying to control food in different ways. And through all of that, I realised something simple. Food is not about extremes.

This is what I believe food should be. Not something we fear or control all the time, but something that nourishes us and brings us together. Food can be a slow breakfast in the morning, a shared lunch with someone you love, or a simple dinner at the end of the day. It doesn't have to be perfect to be good.

I'm a certified personal trainer with a background in nutrition coaching, and I like to keep everything simple, balanced, and realistic. You won't find strict rules here, just meals that feel good, support your body, and fit into real life.

Because health is not only what's on your plate. It's also how you move, how you rest, and how you feel. It's the small daily habits that shape how you experience your life.

This space is not about doing everything right. It's about finding your own rhythm, slowing down when you can, and creating moments that feel good.

If you're here, take it slowly, make something simple, share it if you can, and enjoy the moment.
